The concept of this impressive work, which occupies more than 600 square meters, was inspired by Giacomo Leopardi’s “L’infinito”, “The Infinity” which the artist considers one of the most beautiful poems ever written. The Italian poet from Recanati managed to express such a complex concept, that of infinity, in verse. Infinity as a mathematical concept was revolutionary and an important driver of human evolution and innovation. Infinity in poetry takes the form of thought, metamorphosis and imagination.Taking up the poet’s words, VESOD created an image that, in line with his previous works, reinterprets poetry in a surrealist dimension. At the compositional level, an important added value comes from the inclusion of the vertical garden in the majestic façade to complete the vortex generated by the looping symbol of infinity. The work also incorporates the architectural elements of the building itself, such as the windows and the entrance door. The latter seems to invite the visitor to take a step into “infinity”. Change through innovation, Culture, Mentorship, Passion, Future change are the words that most inspired the artist in this work.VesodThe artistic aptitude of VESOD, born in Turin, was fostered by his father Dovilio Brero, a surrealist painter, who influenced him from his youth. VESOD has developed an interest in the world of graffiti since the early 1990s. Thanks to the artistic collaborations and contacts he made during those years as a teenager, he has recently started his professional career. For ten years he has been searching for a personal pictorial language in which graffiti plays a central role, devoting time to his cultural and academic education. Mathematics, which is the subject he graduated in, has an important impact on his works along with Renaissance art and Futurism. This can be recognized in VESOD’s attempt to harmonize anatomical proportions and futuristic dynamics. VESOD creates a personal language in which time is considered as a concept, which by closing in solid immaterial forms, crystallizes into geometric form to revisit the idea of the eternal present. Since 2013 he has painted murals all over the world, Dortmund, Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Moscow, Cartagena, Nanchang, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Calabria, Venice, Port Adelaide, Frankston.
